First haircut

Today (Saturday 27th) I went to Trotters to get my first haircut.

It was quite traumatic.

The only way I could be persuaded to stay still long enough was to sit in the floor and have Daddy bring me shoes to try on. Thankfully the hairdresser was also a shoe shop. Who'd of thought!

I got a certificate and everything.

Later on Mummy, Daddy and GE had a BBQ, in the kitchen. It was the first time it had rained for weeks. Mum knew that would happen as soon as they planned a BBQ night. It true British fashion they didn't let the weather beat them!

Mummy and me at my first theme park

Needless to say I am about as brave as her. Which means I'll be sleeping with the light on until I'm 15.

This weekend whilst mummy and daddy were living it up in stoke on Trent for a friends wedding Granma and Grampa looked after me. We had a whale of a time causing mischief and painting the town red! I also got to see auntie Janine - she is right up my street. Thanks G & G - next time I'll come to you yeah?

Mummy is very tired these days an apologises for the weak blog entry. So just be grateful...

Chessington world of...

I will never go back there.

Swimming in the park opposite my house is much more my style.

I must learn to share better. Mummy took me to a dance class today and it was mortifying. Tears all round.

All in all, a sooooper day! As Granma would say! Can't wait to see auntie Janine and cuz Zac tomorrow. And you Granma, obvs.

Hot and Steamy

Today Eljah came over to spend the day with me. It was a bit uncool that mum and dad had to follow us everywhere but I suppose its gonna be this way for a while. So embarrassing.

We went to a jumble sale and daddy bought me a piano for £6 and a till for £1. That kept me going for a bit. Then we went swimming in the park. Mummy said we needed to stay close together so we held hands. We even kissed a couple of times totally unprompted. Mummy thought that was just the best.

We had lunch, then a snooze (separate beds of course) then went back to the park for some ice cream and swing action.

Mummy said today I was very good at sharing but I am VERY naughty when it comes to pushing and hitting when I get cross or excited. Today when mummy told me off and waved her finger at me and said "NO, STOP IT" Elijah copied mummy and it made us all laugh!

What a day! I love this sunshine! I hope it stays like this for a long time...

Big love

Summer summer summertime!

I am LOVING this weather. Surrey is so damn posh yah that there is an outdoor swimming pool in the park. I was loving it whilst mummy drank wine juice with her friend.

I wish it was this sunny all the time.

Sun + enough space to go wild = my idea of heaven.

Bath time frolics with Edie

Team McCullough

Today Auntie Penny, Edie and Baby Bea came to visit Mummy and me. We had the most super day in the sunshine.

I still have a few issues to iron out when I forget that hitting isn't socially acceptable, but all in all I am very good at playing alongside other kids. And Edie and I played beautifully together. It makes mum smile.

Seeing Auntie Penny deal with two babies makes mum nauseous.  She may need a drink tonight.

Lots of love

Today I helped daddy do the shopping whilst mummy was working. I miss mummy nearly as much as she misses me

Mummy looked at me and thought

'You're not a baby anymore'

I am so big these days. Sometimes Daddy looks at me when I'm asleep and just can't believe how big I am! I am MASSIVE!

Garden sunshine

(Written on Tuesday 2nd July)

These days I will mostly be at Tamara's parents house as Tamara is having an extension. Now I thought their house was posh, but this house is AMAZING. They have a swimming pool and lots of toys in the garden for the grandchildren, and a cleaner who cleans up my mess. Whoa! I am living the dream here!

Today I am practicing my back hand in the spirit of Wimbledon. And I will also get to ride my tractor. I love tractors. I would make an excellent farmer.

This weekend I hung out with Nana Babs whilst Mummy and Daddy celebrated surviving their first year of marriage. They had a wonderful time drinking cocktails and driving boats in Bath.

Meanwhile Nana Babs took me to Claremont Gardens and Brocketts Farm and we had a riot! The weather was hot and sticky and I'm not sure I've ever been this hot. It's not great for my look, as you can tell! But I do like walking around in my pants! How often can you do that....

Sunshine and tantrums

Today Nana Babs came to visit. She brought the sunshine with her.

We had a picnic in the park and my cheeks went a little red! Oops! I wouldn't let go of my calculator all day for fear of not being able to do my sums.

Nana also saw a range of my different tantrums. Mum especially enjoys the 'worshipping pose', that's a good one!

It's Daddy's birthday today and us girls (Mummy and me) sent a big bunch of embarrassing singing balloons to his work. Ha. How funny!

Painting. Wow.

After Tamara's I made a card for Mummy's friend Jo and her new baby.

Mum thinks I am excellent at painting. I especially like the colour blue these days.

I don't like it when any paint touches my skin though. Mum has to clean it off very quickly. But sometimes I am too focused to notice.
