Exhausted

So, on Mummy and Daddy's last night together before Mum leaves to go back for the wedding (as in HAS SOOOO MUCH TO DO), I have decided to take almost 3 hours to get to sleep. After singing for so long it made him dizzy, Daddy finally got me to sleep. But I'm in the middle of their bed. HA HA! They will have to sleep in MY cot!! (They'd probably fit anyway!).

Just had to get that off my chest.

Feel better now, thanks

Splashing in the Sunshine

I literally do not know where to start with telling you how exciting my day has been today!

The weather was LUSH so this morning we sat in Penny's back garden with a few other mums. Penny brought out cakes and strawberries and cream. It was AMAZE BALLS! Then she turned on her super bubble making machine and I was in heaven. Oh gosh it was incredible.

THEN, just when I thought the fun was over, Mummy took me over to Imogen's house where I ate all my lunch (lamb roast dinner in a squeezy tube - oh yes), then I was so exhausted by all the fun in the sun that Imogen and I had a 90 minute nap whilst our Mummy's had lunch and sunbathed in the garden. She couldn't believe her luck.

THEN, Ruth did a wonderful thing. She set out her paddling pool and I absolutely frickin LOVED IT! I got so excited Mum thought my head might explode right off my body. I had such a fab time splashing about in the garden. That was until I decided to go for a poo and it consequently started leaking out of my nappy into the pool. That was when Mummy called it a day.

What a day.

So, tomorrow I am off back to Granma and Grampa Peace's house to kick start some wedding activities. I of course will be no help at all, but I will probably amuse people on the way with my ridiculous sense of humour and diva attitude.

So long!

Keep rollin' rollin' rollin'.....

This weekend has been EPIC.

Firstly, on Saturday I ROLLED for the first time.

This is important. All my mates have been rolling since they were 4 months old, but now I can be in the rolling gang. WOOP WOOP!

Then today we spent the day with Aunty Jo because it was her BIRTHDAY!! Jo's Mummy made an amazing lunch and because I had a packed lunch I got to eat babybel cheese which is my new favourite thing in the world.

Anyway, despite all this excitement Mummy is quite tired* and grumpy so she says I have to get off the computer now.

Night night everyone

Sunshine and Snot

This is another classic photo from yesterday's painting session!

Today I went for a walk with Mummy and Daddy and had a picnic by the lake. I have a bit of a cold at the moment so I am not feeling my best, as you can see by this picture.

This is my first ever painting. Mum has framed it already!

Tomorrow we are off to see Aunty Jo as it's her birthday. Mum has been 'baking' all afternoon! I asked if I could lick the bowl  but she says I'm not old enough yet. Cow.

Mum's going out on the tiles tonight, so watch out Chatham!!!

Messy Play

Today we went to Ruth and Imogens house and had Messy Play. Penny couldn't make it because she had her staff over today. We put a shower curtain on the floor and we went wild. Firstly with food. And then with edible paint. I did my first ever painting.  Inspired by Van Gogh my work of art will be worth millions one day. Mum is so proud.

Bring on the weekend!!!

The Beaker Challenge.

Today I got a little further in mastering The Beaker.

It goes in my mouth fine. But I still can't work out why water doesn't come out when I suck. When Mummy holds it up to my mouth it comes out fine. I'll get there though.

We also drove to London to pick up Mummy's wedding dress. Mummy's clearly been eating too much cake because it's actually too small. After Grandpa forking out half his pension on the alterations she couldn't ask the lady to make it bigger! So there's only one thing for it. No cake for Mummy for TWO WEEKS. You got that people! So pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't tempt her*

Hi all

Mum here.

I just wanted to draw your attention to Elsie Beyre's new fancy list on the right hand side. It's a list of foods she likes. Hopefully we'll be adding new ones to the list every day. This way you can keep track of her (non) progress, and also when (if) you look after her you will already know what she's keen on.

Now, I'm working on a few more, but at the moment we're just in the grooming stage. Anything that goes on this list is a definite HIT!!

Can't wait to see you all in a couple of weeks! Can you believe I'm going to be a MOTHER and a WIFE! When did that happen??

Sunshine and Friends

On Monday Mummy's lovely friend Lucy came to visit. She has been travelling around a big country called South America for a whole year! Now she is back this is very good news....!!

Then today we were very busy indeed. This morning mum raced round Asda like a crazy woman, grabbing all sorts from the shelves. Then I went to my swimming lesson which I acted like a complete mentalist crashing about and laughing. Then we had Ruth and Colleen and my mates Imogen (obvs) and Harrison round for lunch. We had macaroni cheese. and THEN (yes there's more!) we drank wine in Pennys garden in a rather fetching tent.

I'm cream crackered now and need to go to bed.

Daddy will be late home again tonight so Mummy is going to watch lots of rubbish on the telly.

Not long now til I see Noonie, Auntie Janine, GE and Nana Babs. I hope they don't wear nice clothes when I see them because I am pretty mucky these days and usually leave a healthy print of carrot/spit/sick/poo wherever I go. Just saying...

Father's Day

My new strawberry dress

Big Hug

Bolognese Lipstick

This weekend we had a lovely Father's day at Granma and Grampa Peace's. We went to the pub and had a lovely Sunday roast in my new strawberry dress!

Then today I had coffee and cake with Imogen and Edie, obviously! And me and Imogen played a duet on the piano. She's lovely is Imogen, she always gives me a cuddle, and all I do is push her over.

Then this afternoon mummy's lovely friend Lucy came to visit and we sat in the sun eating pear and gingerbread men.

Thanks Granma Peace for taking up my green spotty dress. It's perfect for me....

18 days until the wedding! I'll be glad when it's over to be honest, as they don't bloody shut up about it! When am I going to get the attention???!!

Weetabix and Swimming

Today I ate soggy weetabix with my hands. I had lots of fun and ate almost nothing.

Then we went swimming with my mates Imogen and Edie and their mummies.

We also visited 'the poshest nursery in medway'. Mummy wasn't that impressed. I especially enjoyed showcasing my new scream laugh which takes everyone by surprise and makes my mum giggle. Mum says I'm feisty and she likes that. No one likes a placid baby. (that's what she tells herself to get through it).

Almost time to go see the Peace Grandparents. I will make sure I display an array of feistyness over the weekend.

Big love

A Culinary Revolution

Today something amazing happened. Yes it involved using every pan in the kitchen, yes it took several hours, yes there were tears and tantrums (from both sides), but Mum discovered a way to get me to eat. Now it only happened once, so it may be a one-off but cross your fingers this is it. Mum realised that my biggest fear was the spoon. I am terrified of the spoon. I scream when it comes near me. So mum bought a packet of food in a squeezy tube and squeezed it straight into my mouth. I couldn't get enough of it!

So, we'll try that one again tomorrow and I'll let you know how it goes.

But anyway, today I went for scone and coffee in the Cathedral tea rooms and sat in the sun with my mates. (ps it's not hard to get me to eat scone...especially with cream and jam...oooh yeah) Then the Health Visitor came over to check that Mum still hadn't chucked me out the window. And then we spent several hours cooking and shouting in the kitchen. Hurrah!

Tomorrow we are off for a weekend with Granma and Grampa for Father's Day. Afterall, there are two Father's in the house now (also not forgetting Honkers Grandad), so it's a very special day. I already bought Daddy a present but I caught him wearing them the other day so that's that then! HA!

Lots of Love, Elsie Beyre xxx

New Diva Heights

Lately I insist on only doing my number 2's in a clean nappy.

When I scream Mum changes my nappy for a fresh one, and then I do my business. Then Mum changes my nappy again. And it goes like this....

Mum is thinking that perhaps she is encouraging this diva behaviour by making sure I have a clean nappy to poo in. She is also thinking that a lot of nappies are ending up on the landfill as a result of my new diva heights.

Hen Party

This weekend, whilst Mum has been having a wild time on her hen party I also also had myself a wild time. Me and Daddy went to London and basically painted the whole town bright red.

I have to be honest, Mum is feeling a little ropey tonight and probably needs to eat daddy's lasagne and get an early night. So I best go.

Thanks for an awesome weekend Daddy, and thanks to Aunty Jo and Auntie Amy for showing Mum a good time!!
