I chilled with Imogen and Edie in the morning.

Check out Imogen in this photo....

Also, Mum has noticed that I'm a little unsocial. Whenever I'm around friends I turn my back on them. I do it to Mum as well. It's just something I need to work on before I go to school.

One thing I do have to get off my chest is that Mum spent ALL afternoon in the kitchen cooking me three separate a-la-carte-level meals which I instantly rejected on the grounds of 'not fruit'. Mum was so adamant that she wouldn't waste the gourmet   purée that she ate it herself. With a plastic spoon.

Also the Health Visitor lady came to visit us. As per usual I was a sheer delight, and roared into screams as she drove off down the road. I love that game.

Lots of love

My week in London

Sorry I haven't written for a while.

I have been in London and I haven't had a moment to myself!

So anyway, here's what I got up to....

We had a picnic with Aunty Jo in the sunshine
We went to get Mummy fitted into her wedding dress and sipped coffee in the posh cafe

I taught Grandma how to text

We took the tube to Selfridges to get some wedding gifts
We learnt how to be gangsta!

We went to a lebanese restaurant with Daddy and Grandma and had a huge platter

We had a nice day out for Aunty Amy's birthday. I wore my pretty dress from Great Grandma.

We wento to Jimmy Choo and I approved very much of Mummy's choice.

We went south of the river and met Mummy's and Grandma's friends Emily amd her baby Sophia, as well as Maggie and Phillis. We ate yummy italian food.

So all in all we had a lovely time and got up to lots of mischief.

We also had a visit to A&E as I caught a tummy bug and Mummy and Daddy were very worried about me. I'm fine now. But they're suffering a bit...oops!

Lots of Love

Drs, Mexican and Coffee

Today mummy took me to see the doc to get some repeat prescritions for my special moisturiser. It's no Chanel, but it makes me look ever so young.

Then we went to bluewater to visit mums friend and her baby Ollie for some mexican food. Ollie is only a week older than me, but will be in the school year above me. He's nice.

Then we popped in to see Daddy at work. And then came home via Ruth's for coffee with Imogen and Edie (and Penny & Ruth of course).

And now I am exhausted, refusing my dinner and driving my Dad up the wall.

Bath, bottle and bed in a bit me thinks.

Night Night

Today I gobbled up Mum's home-made tuna croquettes.

Even though they look disgusting, they were actually quite edible.

First time for everything...

Elsie Beyre

I went to Bluewater to have lunch with Mummy's friend Jo.
I ate parsnips in John Lewis, which mum was very pleased with as I don't eat parsnips at home. Must be because they are posh parsnips and I have exquisite taste.
Then I fell asleep.
Then we came home and had a walk with Daddy.
That was yesterday. Today Mummy has a cold so there hasn't been too much activity. Although, this morning we did go to Church to get Mummy and Daddys Banns read. No one objected. So we are good to go for July people!

Lots of Love, Elsie Beyre xx

My new thing I can't leave the house without. A jar lid.

Thursday, 17 May 2012

I had coffee with Ruth and Imogen in the morning. And a scone with Penny and Edie  in the afternoon.

We did plan a day to do some wedding admin but it all went a bit to pot!

In the Cathedral tea rooms a handsome boy (he is 2 so a good age gap) came up to me to say hello. I pinched his nose and he found me very funny indeed. What can I say, I'm a natural flirt like my Granma.

Daddy's cooking burgers tonight so I best go so he can get on with it.

Happy 30th Birthday Uncle Jono!

Today is Jono's birthday. I really hope he has a good day with Granma and Grampa in Canada and they eat lots of pountine!

Today I went swimming and we learnt a new stroke! And also how to fall into the water safely. I am pretty terrible at that manoeuvre because I just want to lark about splashing and swimming under water. Oooh that reminds me, I don't think I told you but on Sunday mummy and daddy took me to an underwater photo shoot! haha. We have to go to see the photos when they are ready, but I am sure they took a good one of me grinning  with my thumbs up!

Have a safe trip home G-ma and G-pa

ps. this is a photo of me at Rochester Cathedral Tea Rooms. We like it there x

Today mummy is putting my cow-bag behaviour down to my teeth.

She says that I'd better have a full set of molars after the day we've had!

On a plus note, I am getting much more mobile and no longer sit still on laps (not that I ever really did!). I like to treat people like climbing frames. Story time at night gets a little bit too exciting and I want to climb all over mum and dad. They think it's funny so they let me of course.

Big love

Top Table

Daddy has discovered a novel way to feed me.

I am much happier on the top of the table, and not within the constraints of my high chair.

Mummy says she has spent some time on the top of a few tables. Usually with a cocktail in her hand though.

What's a cocktail? And when will I have one?

You will all be eggstremely proud of me.

Today I gobbled up my first bowl of scrambled egg. Mum has been trying to eggsperiment with different foods I may like. And she was eggsactly right today- not that scrambled egg is very eggsotic or eggstravagent! But it was simply eggceptional!

Now I can add egg to the list of things I eat without physical force from my parents. Egg, fruit and yoghurt, YAY. Eggcellent!

Tomorrow Mum must think of some more eggsamples of new foods I may like.

Big kiss

ps. sorry for eggsaggerating on the 'egg' words. The only eggscuse I have is that I am just so eggcited I could eggspode!

Where's the eggsit?

Flat tyres, (no) swimming, and cappucinos

This morning was an all round epic failure.

We tried to go swimming, as I explained yesterday, with Edie and Imogen. But Penny's car had a flat tyre, and the swimming pool was actually closed.

So instead we sunbathed in the car park, with take-out cappucinos.

Not so bad in the end.

Looking forward to the weekend.

Big Kiss

ps check out my 'one leg out' sunbathing.

Angel Face

So, it has come apparent that mum finds it easy to let you all know what kind of arse I have been each day. But she does fail to tell you when I have been good. Granted, it's not that often, but this week I have been so deliciously amazing that mum has actually enjoyed spending time with me. She says it's been such a refreshing and brilliant week and she has felt so happy, and understands now what other mums are talking about when they say 'but it's all worth it though, isn't it!?'. So that's that then. I am VERY good. For now at least.

Today we had a very quick visit to London. We had a sarnie and a coffee with mums friend Thais, and then popped to the hospital for mum to have a check up. I was smiling and giggling all day and lots of strangers were telling mum how much of an angel face I was. I don't like them getting too close though. urgh.

Tomorrow we are taking my mate Imogen for her first swim. I will of course show off my aquatic skills to her, and she will gasp in amazement. You'll see.

Big kiss

Asleep whilst drinking

Today I went swimming and this week me and mummy went underwater both together. I loved it. And mummy was wearing goggles so she could see me.

note to mummy - buy cooler goggles for next week.

I was so exhausted after swimming that when mummy was sipping her cappuccino with Penny and feeding me at the same time, I just dozed off. Now thank goodness I am asleep in my hammock whilst mum is going to fill her belly with some macaroni cheese. Needless to say, I'll be having that for dinner.

We love getting notes from Granma from Canada. It sounds like they are having lots of fun. Wish I could join you. Maybe one day Uncle Jono will take me skiing on the slopes. Mummy will have to kit me out with an all in one pink ski suit with matching accessories of course.

Anyway, must go, I'm not that great at sleep typing

Today I hung out with my mate Jack.

Jack's cool.

Swindon, lynham and bath

Yesterday we visited polish great grandma. We had a lovely lunch and she told us all these amazing stories about how she grew up in the war. It was very interesting and quite unbelievable. We love great grandma very much.

Today mummy went to visit a spa without me but it was ok because daddy looked after me with my friend jack and his dad mike. Mum had a super time she says but did admit to missing me a little bit. I was as good as gold for dad, much to mums disappointment!!!

Haha Big kisses Elsie beyre. Xxxx

Today I hung with my home girls Imogen and Edie.

We went to baby bounce and rhyme which mummy thought she would have to cringe her way through just to survive, but actually it turns out she got quite into in and we both had a lovely time.

We then had Penny, Ruth, Imogen and Edie would for lunch, and the intention was to go to Messy Play in the afternoon but because our routine was all messed up we decided it would be more fun to drink wine and eat chocolate buttons.

Dad is home early tonight so we are just waiting for him now. YAY.

Big kiss

Shopping, face paint and golf

Today mummy took me shopping and she had a funny lady paint her face in a shop. She says that when you get older you need to paint your face and that not everyone can be as naturally as beautiful as me. Blush. Everyone was cooing at me in my pram, and I was giving them the flirty smiles - these people are mad for it. I laugh at them when they smile at me and think to myself 'idiots'.

Daddy played a charity golf tournament and had lots of fun. He's quite good at this boring 'sport' you know.

Grandma and grampa must be in Canada now with uncle Jono. I really hope you have a great time. Please bring me back some maple syrup x

Ps check out my cardigan bought by my great(?) auntie Janine. Its still going strong and I don't have to roll the sleeves up quite as much now

Tummy Time

Today I went swimming in the morning, followed by cappuccinos and tesco in the afternoon.
Daddy is now out for a curry with the lads so mum and I are catching up on mad men. Nice.
Big kiss

Crackers about Maracas

Thank you Auntie Jo for my maracas from Venezuela.

Just one problem.

How do I fit them in my mouth?
